DCTL Utilities for DaVinci Resolve
This package contains three DCTLs for DaVinci Resolve that simplify working with color:
Hue / Skintone Highlighter
This DCTL highlights a range of hues and lets you check at a quick glance where colors in your footage match your target and where they deviate too much. The colors inform you of the direction of deviation. By default, this utility targets skintones which Resolve specifies as ~18.5°, but you can adjust this target to whatever you need. This can be handy to ensure that an object has the came color in all shots, for example.
You have the option to turn the rest of the image into grayscale or hide it completely to focus on the hues you're targeting.
Saturation Highlighter
This utility can highlight a range of saturation. By default, it will highlight areas with almost no saturation, which equals a neutral gray or white, but you can customize this to highlight highly saturated areas instead, for example.
You can also customize the utility to show only parts of the image that match the given saturation range or set the lightness of all matching colors to 50% to focus on their hue and saturation.
Luminance Highlighter
This DCTL highlights dark areas of the image in blue and bright areas in red. You can set the low and high threshold as well as a falloff for both thresholds. In addition, you can turn the rest of your image into grayscale to focus more on the highlighted parts.
